Penang FC finally grabbed their first victory of the season with a 2-0 win over Melaka FC in the FA Cup round of 16 first leg at Hang Jebat Stadium.
Despite being the away side, the Panthers dominated through Dylan Wenzel-Halls, who struck twice in the 48th and 81st minutes, easing the pressure on head coach Wan Rohaimi Wan Ismail after a winless run.
Elsewhere, Imigresen FC pulled off the biggest upset of the tournament so far, defeating Terengganu FC 2-1 at Batu Kawan Stadium.
Yann Mabella opened the scoring for TFC in the 49th minute, but Rafael Iserhard Holstein equalised five minutes later before Joao Pedro sealed the dramatic win with an injury-time strike.
The second-leg matches are scheduled for September 14.
