SUBANG JAYA, August 19 – Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) has unveiled the Dato’ Setia Dr Anuar Masduki Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab), paying tribute to the late pioneering cardiologist and founding member of SJMC’s medical team.
Officiated by His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, the launch of the RM14 million, state-of-the-art facility marks the hospital’s 40th anniversary and cements Dr Anuar’s legacy in shaping Malaysia’s cardiology landscape, including his role in performing the country’s first PCI and angioplasty.
Equipped with advanced Philips Azurion 7 C20I FlexArm technology, the new Cath Lab enhances SJMC’s capacity to deliver minimally invasive cardiac procedures and supports the hospital’s vision of becoming a regional cardiac care hub.
