KUALA LUMPUR, August 29 — Malaysian healthtech startup FEV3R has been named the country’s sole contender in the Southeast Asia regional round of the Startup World Cup 2025, organised by Pegasus Tech Ventures and Lestari Indonesia.
Out of a highly competitive pool of ventures from Indonesia, Singapore, and Cambodia, only 10 startups advanced, with FEV3R proudly flying Malaysia’s flag at the Jakarta showdown on August 29. The winner of the regional round will secure a coveted spot in the global finals in Silicon Valley, where the ultimate champion stands to win a USD1 million investment and international recognition.
“To be recognised among APAC’s top 10 during Merdeka month is an honour beyond words,” said FEV3R CEO Adlan Hercus. Founded as a healthcare-as-a-service company, FEV3R offers affordable e-patient services through a digital-first subscription model, helping individuals and employers reduce the cost and complexity of primary healthcare.
Its selection highlights both Malaysia’s growing innovation ecosystem and the potential of local startups to shine on the world stage.
