BATU KAWAN, September 7 — UMediC Group Berhad (UMC) has officially doubled its manufacturing capacity with the launch of a new 20,000-square-foot facility at Batu Kawan Industrial Park, expanding its total production space to 50,000 square feet while unveiling the UMC Healthcare Centre, Rescue Medic Ambulance Services.
And UMC Learning Centre, a move officiated by Penang State Executive Councillor YB Daniel Gooi Zi Sen and praised by MIDA and Invest Penang as a milestone for Malaysia’s medical device industry, with CEO Eric Lim Taw Seong affirming UMC’s vision to strengthen the nation’s healthcare supply chain through technology, R&D, and integrated services.
