SHAH ALAM, September 8 — Bersatu deputy president Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin reaffirmed his unwavering support for party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at the party’s general assembly, urging members to reject gossip and stand united.
He stressed that loyalty and solidarity must define Bersatu’s culture, declaring that he had sacrificed much for the party and would remain with it until the end. Hamzah also dismissed accusations of betrayal, affirming that his sole intention was to strengthen Bersatu under Muhyiddin’s leadership.
Looking ahead, he expressed confidence in the party’s future, saying Bersatu would no longer be “a passenger alongside others” but instead take the lead in steering Malaysia forward.
