BAGAN DATUK, September 8 — Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has demanded an explanation from MIC after its Deputy Youth chief K Kesavan was spotted attending Bersatu’s Armada Annual General Assembly yesterday.
He said BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir would be tasked with obtaining a written clarification from the party. Zahid, who is also Umno president, stressed that no BN component party should be present, either officially or personally, at events organised by parties outside the Madani Government.
He added that it was up to MIC’s leadership to decide on any disciplinary action in line with its internal rules.
