BUKIT MERTAJAM, September 15 — Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil said the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (Sara) aid programme is running smoothly, with MyKad ensuring only eligible recipients benefit.
During a visit to SH Bistari Supermarket in Kubang Semang, he noted an average of 150–200 daily redemptions, positive response in the first week, clear item labelling, and sufficient stock, adding that the MyKad system may also be applied to future initiatives like the RON95 fuel subsidy.
