KUALA LUMPUR, September 18 – The Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) celebrated the creativity and commitment of Malaysian tertiary students at its headquarters with a prize-giving ceremony for the #GoGreenWithPIAM 3R Campaign, the association’s first nationwide initiative promoting Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle practices.
Held between May and June 2025, the campaign attracted submissions from across the country, honouring nine winners whose inspiring short videos showcased authentic, everyday applications of sustainable living, with Grand Prize winner Nur Aqilah Binti Noor Hisyam of Perlis commended for her heartfelt message and creativity.
PIAM CEO Chua Kim Soon highlighted the urgency of environmental action amid increasing climate-related risks, while Programme Leader Lee Chiew Lai underscored the campaign’s long-term goal of cultivating a circular economy mindset among youth.
With this initiative, PIAM aims to nurture future leaders who can drive lasting behavioural change, making simple sustainable habits a cornerstone of Malaysia’s journey toward a greener future.
