SEOUL, September 19 — Samsung Electronics has begun the official rollout of One UI 8, its latest software upgrade that brings multimodal AI, enhanced personalization, and stronger security to Galaxy devices. Starting with the Galaxy S25 series, the update will extend to the Galaxy S24 lineup, Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and other eligible models in the coming weeks.
Key features include proactive daily suggestions through Now Brief, real-time FlexWindow updates with Now Bar, and new AI tools like Gemini Live for seamless interactions and Circle to Search for smarter in-game assistance.
One UI 8 also introduces Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) for app-specific data security, post-quantum cryptography in Secure Wi-Fi, and Knox Matrix for cross-device protection. Optimized for multiple form factors, the update enhances multitasking with AI-powered tools for productivity, creativity, and communication.
In Malaysia, the rollout begins Sept 18 for the Galaxy S25 series, followed by additional models through October.
