KUALA LUMPUR, September 20 – Nokia has signed a contract with Extreme Broadband (EBB) and its subsidiary Open DC to upgrade six AI-powered data centers across Malaysia, deploying its Data Center Gateway, Data Center Fabric and quantum-safe networks to enhance security, scalability and performance.
The collaboration, which supports Malaysia’s National Cloud Computing Policy and the stringent needs of industries such as banking and finance, will interconnect facilities in Cyberjaya, Johor Bahru, Penang and Kedah.
While also paving the way for future innovations through a Memorandum of Understanding on data center solutions, enterprise connectivity, and quantum-safe networks.
