KUALA LUMPUR, September 22 — The Malaysian Football League (MFL), through its 15th Board of Directors meeting, has decided to impose suspensions and fines on three clubs — Sri Pahang FC, Kedah Darul Aman FC, and Perak FC — following their withdrawal and failure to secure the National Licence for the 2025–2026 season.

Sri Pahang FC has been suspended for one season after pulling out from all MFL competitions, while Kedah Darul Aman FC and Perak FC face two-season suspensions (2025–2027) for failing to obtain licences. In addition, all three clubs will lose their rights to merit-based financial distributions from the concluded 2024–2025 Malaysia League season.
