KUALA LUMPUR, September 30 — The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre Business Events Alliance (KLCCBEA), in collaboration with KLCC Holdings, has launched the 3rd edition of Sustainable September, themed “Liveable and Lovable Precinct” in line with DBKL’s vision for the capital.
Officiated by Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Seri TPr. (Dr.) Maimunah Mohd Sharif, the campaign includes community-driven activities such as a fun run, Zumba session, and a tree-planting programme in partnership with FRIM, which will add 48 new trees to KLCC Park under the national “100 Million Tree Planting Campaign.”
Aiming to raise RM30,000 through precinct-wide fundraising initiatives, the programme highlights the KLCC Precinct’s commitment to environmental sustainability, social good, and urban liveability, positioning it as a model for sustainable urban living and a benchmark for future-ready city development.
