GOMBAK, September 30 — Transport Minister Anthony Loke has called on the management of the newly launched RM307 million Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG) to ensure the facility is consistently maintained at world-class standards, not just during high-profile events like the prime minister’s visit.
He said the terminal, built to serve East Coast routes to Pahang, Terengganu, and Kelantan with a capacity of 25,000 passengers daily, reflects the government’s commitment to elevating Malaysia’s public transport system.
Loke stressed that the high level of cleanliness and operational efficiency displayed during the launch must be sustained every day, warning against the common trend of services declining once official ceremonies end.
Highlighting TBG’s role as more than a regular bus terminal, he noted its digital ticketing system, real-time monitoring, and future linkage to the East Coast Rail Link, positioning it as a modern transport hub integrated with shopping, dining, and lifestyle offerings.
