KUALA LUMPUR, October 2 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has strongly condemned Israel’s interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla, which carried unarmed civilians and humanitarian aid for Gaza.
He described the act as intimidation and coercion, saying it reflected Israel’s contempt for both the rights of Palestinians and the conscience of the international community. Anwar stressed that Malaysia will pursue all lawful avenues to hold Israel accountable.
Particularly regarding the safety of Malaysian citizens involved in the mission. Reaffirming Malaysia’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people, he declared that the nation will continue to demand justice and an end to decades of dispossession and oppression.
