KUALA LUMPUR, October 7 – Tesla Malaysia has unveiled the refreshed Model 3 lineup featuring new hardware, safety enhancements, and a price adjustment of up to 6% effective today. The world’s best-selling electric sedan now includes a front-facing camera for improved visibility, a traditional turn signal stalk for added driving convenience, and sleek matt-black logo badges.
A key highlight is the introduction of the Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive, priced at RM185,000, offering up to 750km (WLTP) per charge—the longest range of any Tesla vehicle available in Malaysia—with the ability to add 311km of range in just 15 minutes via 250kW Supercharging.
Tesla continues to expand its footprint in Malaysia with 15 Supercharging stations (68 Superchargers) and 16 Destination Charging sites (73 chargers) already operational, alongside a growing Home Charging Program adopted by over 8,000 owners nationwide. With premium features, lower ownership costs compared to petrol vehicles, and a comprehensive charging network.
Tesla reinforces its mission to accelerate EV adoption and make sustainable mobility more accessible. The new Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive will be available for test drives soon at Tesla Experience Centres in Cyberjaya, Pavilion Damansara Heights, Gurney Plaza Penang, and Johor.
