GEORGE TOWN, October 11 — The Penang Island City Council (MBPP) has announced a temporary road closure along part of Jalan C. Y. Choy tonight, Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in conjunction with the Penang Lantern Festival 2025.
The affected stretch will be between Gat Jalan Prangin and Jalan Magazine. Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes and refer to the official map for detailed traffic information.
