KUALA LUMPUR, October 12 – The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and Dunham-Bush Industries Sdn. Bhd. have partnered to advance Malaysia’s data centre value chain through sustainable precision cooling solutions, hosting a “Keep Your DC Cool” seminar that gathered over 60 stakeholders from industry and government.
With RM144.4 billion worth of approved data centre and cloud investments between 2021 and June 2025, MIDA CEO Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid highlighted how AI-driven data centres are driving strong linkages for local suppliers and talent.
While Dunham-Bush Managing Director Yu Baoshuang underscored the company’s commitment to energy-efficient climate technologies that expand local manufacturing and create skilled jobs. The event, aligned with MIDA’s Data Centre Nexus initiative, reinforced Malaysia’s vision to be a regional leader in sustainable, resilient, and competitive data economy infrastructure.
