KUALA LUMPUR, October 16 — A 14-year-old male student has been remanded for seven days to assist police investigations into the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old female classmate at SMK Bandar Utama 4 on Tuesday morning.
The suspect, dressed in an orange shirt, was brought to the Petaling Jaya Court Complex today and is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. Police confirmed that the victim sustained multiple stab wounds inflicted with two sharp weapons recovered at the scene.
Her body was claimed by family members earlier today after a post-mortem at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. The case remains under investigation, with further updates expected from Selangor police later today.
