KUALA LUMPUR, October 21 – Solarvest Holdings Berhad, through its joint venture with Press Metal Berhad, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Syarikat Sesco Berhad to develop a 100MW solar photovoltaic plant in Mukah, Sarawak, marking one of the state’s largest renewable energy projects under SET-P and PCDS 2030.

Scheduled to begin operations by November 2027 with an investment of RM380 million, the project is expected to offset 46,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, create up to 2,000 jobs, and boost Solarvest’s EPCC orderbook towards RM3 billion, reinforcing its role in driving Sarawak’s clean energy transition and Malaysia’s net-zero aspirations.
