GEORGE TOWN, October 22 — PLUS Malaysia Berhad has announced the commencement of Package 1 of the Traffic Dispersal Project between Juru Toll Plaza and Sungai Dua Toll Plaza (PTJSD) on October 21, 2025.
Appointed through an open tender, NAZA Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd will serve as the main contractor for the 24-month project, which involves upgrading the East-West Interchange roundabout (KM135.15–KM135.4) and constructing a new flyover along Jalan Tun Hussein Onn (KM133.5–KM134.5).
The initiative, expected to benefit around 200,000 daily users, aims to ease congestion and improve travel flow along the North-South Expressway and surrounding areas. PLUS confirmed that initial works will not disrupt traffic, with all existing lanes remaining open, and updates will be provided periodically through its social media channels.
