KUALA LUMPUR, October 25 — Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail confirmed that the chemistry report on the unknown liquid used in the August 31 attack against the son of Pandan MP Rafizi Ramlihas not yet been released.
Speaking at a press conference at Bukit Aman, he said updates will be provided once further developments arise regarding the case involving Rafizi’s 12-year-old son, who was splashed with an unidentified substance at a Putrajaya mall car park.
In the same briefing, Mohd Khalid reiterated that the global search for fugitive financier Jho Low remains ongoing. Describing the 1MDB-linked investigation as “active but sensitive,” he declined to disclose further details, citing operational confidentiality.
Jho Low, believed to be the key figure behind the multibillion-ringgit 1MDB scandal, has remained at large since 2015, with authorities worldwide still working to locate the Penang-born businessman.
