PETALING JAYA, October 29 — Titi Tinggi assemblyman and Padang Besar Bersatu chief Izizam Ibrahim has urged Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin to handle the party’s internal crisis with wisdom and fairness, cautioning him against being swayed by individuals with personal agendas.
He said the ongoing tensions and leadership disputes within the party should be resolved harmoniously for the greater good of Bersatu. Izizam, who also serves as a Perlis executive councillor, stressed the importance of maintaining unity within the party and preserving strong relations with PAS, Bersatu’s key Perikatan Nasional ally.
His statement follows a series of internal conflicts that have seen members, including Wan Saiful Wan Jan, sacked and others calling for Muhyiddin’s resignation. He urged for collective decision-making to ensure the party’s stability and long-term future.
