OSAKA, November 4 — The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) have formalised a three-year Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to strengthen bilateral investment promotion, following the close of Expo 2025 Osaka.

Which yielded RM12.79 billion in Japanese-led investment leads across semiconductors, renewable energy, medical devices, and advanced manufacturing. The MoC aligns Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030 with Japan’s Green and Digital Transformation initiatives, ensuring both nations deepen collaboration on sustainable growth, supply chain resilience, and technology-driven industrial advancement.
