JOHOR BARU, November 4 — The Malaysia-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link project has reached 65 per cent completion, with the first train set expected to arrive by mid-November ahead of trial runs in December, Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced today.

He said construction of the viaduct is 91 per cent complete, while the Bukit Chagar Station and CIQ Complex stand at 73 and 77 per cent, respectively.

The project remains on schedule for full completion by December 2026 and is set to begin operations in January 2027, marking a major step toward improving cross-border connectivity and reducing congestion between Johor Bahru and Singapore.
