SUBANG JAYA, November 5 — Taylor’s University has appointed four renowned figures in the performing arts industry as Adjunct Professors for its Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honours) programme, offering students direct mentorship from leading practitioners.
Representing the Performance Track, acclaimed actresses Siti Saleha binti Mohd Baharum and Datin Hajah Marlia binti Musa will guide students in screen acting, professional networking, and creative development, while Music Track students gain insights from legendary singer-songwriter and producer Dato’ Dr Haji Mohamad Nasir bin Mohamed Sam.
Joining the Dance Track, internationally celebrated ballerina Maria Sascha Khan will share her global experience in performance, choreography, and intercultural collaboration, enriching students’ understanding of dance as a universal art form.
Raziman bin Sarbini, Programme Director, highlighted that these appointments strengthen the university’s commitment to bridging academic learning with professional practice, equipping students across Performance, Music, and Dance tracks with the skills, confidence, and industry exposure needed to thrive in Malaysia’s dynamic arts and entertainment landscape.
