GEORGE TOWN, November 11 — Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd (Rapid Bus) will roll out a new booking app, Rapid On-Demand, on November 15, replacing the current Kummute app to provide faster and more convenient ride bookings across all Rapid Penang On-Demand service zones.
The app features a user-friendly interface, real-time vehicle tracking, live booking updates, and easy pick-up location settings, aiming to enhance digital convenience and standardise booking platforms in Penang and the Klang Valley.
Acting CEO Ku Jamil Zakaria encouraged existing Kummute users to switch to the new app ahead of launch to avoid service interruptions. The RM1 promotional fare will continue across 11 service zones, with multiple payment options including debit/credit cards, DuitNow QR, e-wallets, the Mutiara unlimited travel pass, and Rapid Mesra pass.
