KOTA KINABALU, November 13 – Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) has expanded its contest in the upcoming 17th Sabah state election by four additional seats, bringing its total to 45.
With the announcement of new candidates Willey Lampaki (N06 Bandau), Rahmah Jan Sulaiman (N43 Kemabong), Datuk Chin Kim Hiung (N54 Karamunting), and Chaya Sulaiman (N70 Kukusan). Sabah BN chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said the move aims to strengthen the coalition’s leadership lineup and ensure balanced.
Inclusive representation that reflects the state’s political dynamics. Bung Moktar emphasized that the updated lineup combines new and experienced faces to deliver effective governance and quality service, urging party machinery to intensify preparations and campaigns.
Ahead of the nomination day on November 16, early voting on November 25, and polling on November 29. He expressed confidence that the team’s leadership will earn voters’ trust and secure victory for Barisan Nasional in the state.
