KOTA KINABALU, November 21 – Gerakan leaders insist that PAS’ recent “Gardenia bread” gaffe is not affecting Perikatan Nasional’s prospects in Luyang, saying residents are far more concerned about persistent local problems such as flooding, weak economic conditions for small businesses, and worsening traffic congestion.
Gerakan Deputy President Oh Tong Keong and Sabah Chairman Datuk Alexander Lo criticised DAP’s performance in the constituency since 2018, arguing that long-standing issues remain unresolved and calling on voters to support PN candidate William Ooi Hong Yee.
Who has pledged to revitalise tourism, strengthen small business support, and improve cleanliness and public safety for Luyang’s 35,252 registered voters.
