KUALA LUMPUR, November 22 – Hong Leong Assurance (HLA) has issued an urgent alert after discovering an unauthorised insurance scheme being promoted within Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) by an individual identified as Brian Wong (contact: +6012-770-5385 / [email protected]).
The company confirmed that the scheme — including all promotional materials, sales documents and policy contracts — is entirely fake and not issued, endorsed, or authorised by HLA, adding that the individual involved is not a registered agent with the company.
Treating the case as a serious breach, HLA has taken immediate action and lodged an official police report.
