KUALA LUMPUR, November 25 – Train services across Malaysia’s northern sector continue to operate despite persistent rain, with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) confirming minor delays as enhanced flood safety measures are activated.

KTMB said it is closely tracking rising water levels at several locations and has deployed operational teams on-site to ensure commuter safety, maintaining high alert status as heavy rainfall affects Perlis and surrounding states.

The rail operator assured passengers that updates will be issued regularly through official channels, following reports of temporary road closures in Perlis — including access to the KTMB Arau Station — due to ongoing flooding.
