KUALA LUMPUR, November 26 — CHAGEE Malaysia has become the first freshly prepared beverage tea chain in the country to earn the Healthier Dining Programme (HDP) logo for selected drinks, marking a milestone in promoting healthier beverage choices.

The recognition, introduced by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) under the Healthier Choice Logo initiative, covers CHAGEE’s milk teas and brewed teas that meet nutrient criteria, including sugar content of 5 grams per 100 millilitres or less, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to quality and mindful formulation.

The HDP certification reflects CHAGEE’s dedication to responsible craftsmanship through its “Three Zeroes” philosophy—zero artificial flavouring, zero artificial sweeteners, and zero trans-fat—while allowing customers to make informed decisions via clear in-store labelling and a recently launched Calorie Calculator in the CHAGEE app.

Jonathan Ng, Director for Government and Public Affairs, CHAGEE APAC, said the achievement highlights the brand’s mission to offer beverages that bring enjoyment without compromising well-being, encouraging more brands to innovate with healthier options in Malaysia.
