KUALA LUMPUR, November 27 – Biesse Malaysia, part of the Italian-owned Biesse Group, has partnered with DHL Express through the GoGreen Plus program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its cross-border air shipments by up to 30%.
By adopting Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for routes between Europe and Southeast Asia, the company expects to cut approximately 15 tonnes of CO₂e annually, supporting its commitment to sustainable logistics and responsible manufacturing.
Biesse Asia CFO Alessio Cadeddu said the initiative marks a crucial step in addressing the climate impact of global supply chains, while DHL Express Malaysia and Brunei Managing Director Julian Neo emphasized the importance of industry collaboration in expanding SAF adoption.
The GoGreen Plus program, launched in 2023, enables true value chain decarbonization through a “book & claim” system, advancing DHL’s broader goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and promoting more sustainable air transport solutions worldwide.
