KUALA LUMPUR, December 2 – The Democratic Action Party (DAP) convened an emergency Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting on 2 December to assess the results of the Sabah state election, which party leaders described as a clear signal of a serious confidence crisis toward both DAP and Pakatan Harapan.
According to a statement issued by DAP Secretary-General Anthony Loke, feedback gathered throughout the campaign revealed widespread dissatisfaction among voters, prompting the party to acknowledge the urgency of addressing public concerns.
Following internal deliberations, the CEC agreed to consolidate all feedback received and work closely with the Prime Minister to expedite the national reform agenda over the next six months. During the meeting, DAP Sabah also presented its own assessments and decisions to the CEC as part of the party’s broader review and recovery strategy.
