SEPANG, December 2 — Eight Malaysian students with disabilities made the nation proud at the Global IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities (GITC) 2025 in Ulsan, Republic of Korea, where they achieved outstanding victories among over 1,700 participants from 20 countries.
The team’s exceptional performance included Muhammad Thaqiif bin Muhamad Zharif winning the Best e-Combination award and sharing top honours in the Best e-Content category with Lum Man Jun, Muhammad Syakir bin Zailani, and Muhammad Fahim bin Mohd Sofian.
Malaysia also received a Special Contribution Award for its commitment to inclusive digital empowerment, marking one of the nation’s strongest-ever showings at GITC. The success underscores Malaysia’s dedication to nurturing digital talent and promoting education equity.
