GENTING HIGHLANDS, December 3 — Resorts World Genting is set to close 2025 and welcome 2026 with a six-day explosion of anime, cosplay and J-pop excitement as Anime Fantasia Live takes over from 29 December 2025 to 3 January 2026, transforming the destination into a full-scale otaku festival complete with ACG booths, daily cosplay competitions, mini games, merchandise and fan meet-ups.
The celebration will culminate in a high-energy concert on 3 January at Arena of Stars, featuring Japanese superstar Airi Suzuki, Gen-Z breakout artist noa (乃紫), and Malaysia’s very own multinational idol group KLP48, promising an unforgettable blend of J-pop brilliance and anime-fandom spirit to kick off the new year.
Tickets for the concert are priced at RM258 (VIP/Standing), RM288 (VIP/Seating) and RM228 (PS1), with public sales starting on 2 December 2025 at 12pm and GRC Gold members enjoying a 10% discount across all categories.
Combining idol charisma, contemporary J-pop vibes and the youthful energy of the ACG community, Anime Fantasia is anticipated to be one of the most exciting year-end events of the season, drawing fans, families and pop-culture lovers to celebrate 2026 in electrifying style.
