KUALA LUMPUR, December 4 — Türkiye has announced a robust performance in its tourism sector, welcoming 50 million international visitors and generating USD 50 billion in tourism revenue during the first nine months of 2025.
According to Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of Culture and Tourism, this represents a 1.6% increase in arrivalsand a 5.7% rise in revenue compared to last year, with visitors staying an average of 10.3 nights and spending USD 103 per person per night.
Despite regional challenges and climate impacts, Türkiye achieved its highest-ever third-quarter revenue milestone, driven by strong demand from key markets such as Russia, Germany, and the United Kingdom, and remains on track to reach its USD 64 billion annual tourism target.
