KUALA LUMPUR, December 5 — Deputy Prime Minister and Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi paid a heartfelt tribute to Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, describing the late Sabah BN chairman and Kinabatangan MP as a “true friend” and loyal comrade following his passing at 1.46am today in Kota Kinabalu at the age of 66.
Zahid said Bung had stood by him through good and difficult times, calling his death a deeply personal loss and extending his prayers that Bung’s soul be blessed and placed among the righteous. He also conveyed condolences to Bung Moktar’s family, as BN leaders including secretary-general Zambry Abdul Kadir echoed tributes to the outspoken and influential Sabah politician.
Thanking him for his decades of service to the state and nation.
