GEORGE TOWN, December 8 – Hompton Hotel Penang ushered in the festive season with a touching Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, welcoming guests, partners, and special invitees from Crystal Family Home and Penang Cheshire Home.
The event highlighted the spirit of kindness, gratitude, and togetherness, with the hotel emphasizing its commitment to creating meaningful moments and giving back to the community. As lights illuminated the grand Christmas tree, attendees were reminded of the season’s message of unity, hope, and compassion.
The evening also marked the introduction of Hompton’s festive culinary offerings, including the hotel’s Special Home Recipe Whole Turkey, available for takeaway from 25 November to 25 December 2025. Priced at RM488 nett for early bird (25 Nov–18 Dec) and RM528 nett normal price.
Each turkey comes with roasted baby potatoes, sautéed vegetables, cranberry and peppercorn sauces, and a complimentary 500g Christmas Fruit Cake for early bird orders. Guests were also given a preview of the hotel’s lavish “Christmas by the Sea Buffet Dinner,” happening on 24 and 25 December at Spice Garden, Level 11.
Featuring an extensive menu of seafood, roasts, global cuisines, and desserts, the buffet is priced at RM248 for adults and RM138 for children, with early bird savings of 25% until 21 December. With Santa appearances, carolers, giveaways, and exciting lucky draw prizes.
Including room stays and buffet vouchers—the celebration reflected Hompton Hotel Penang’s dedication to spreading festive cheer. The evening concluded with warm wishes for joy and peace, as the hotel welcomed guests to celebrate Christmas by the sea in true holiday spirit.
