KUALA LUMPUR, December 9 – The Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI) has appointed Encik Ashran Dato’ Ghazi as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, tasking him with accelerating the nation’s “ideas to impact” agenda.
Formerly CEO of MaGIC and Dattel Asia Group, En. Ashran brings extensive experience in technology, data analytics, and innovation ecosystems, with a proven track record in supporting startups, deeptech ventures, and public-private collaborations.
Under his leadership, MRANTI aims to strengthen industry linkages, expand MRANTI Park as a hub for autonomous technology and life sciences, and harness 4IR technologies like AI and 5G to commercialise research and foster Malaysia’s position as a regional innovation leader.
