MELAKA, December 10 — The Melaka State Legislative Assembly today passed the 2026 State Budget, themed “Planned Development, For the People, By the People”, approving RM528.8 million for operating expenditure and RM93 million for development.

With an estimated revenue of RM528.9 million. Supported by 25 assemblymen, the budget—centred on sustaining economic growth, enhancing public welfare and human capital, and strengthening governance.

Was concluded by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh, who said its implementation will be comprehensive and inclusive across 13 key areas aligned with state Exco portfolios.
