GEORGE TOWN, December 10 — Penang FC is bracing for a significant squad overhaul after suffering a crushing 5-1 loss to Selangor FC in their Super League clash at Bandaraya Stadium, a defeat head coach Wan Rohaimi Wan Ismail described as deeply disappointing and riddled with basic errors.

Wan Rohaimi said the team’s fighting spirit collapsed in the second half after a costly misplaced back pass gifted Selangor a goal, acknowledging fans’ frustration and vowing decisive changes as the club sits bottom of the table with just five points from ten matches.

Selangor head coach Christophe Gamel, meanwhile, praised his side’s focus and resilience despite two stoppages caused by floodlight failures, as the Red Giants climbed to fourth place with 19 points.
