KUALA LUMPUR, December 23 – The Visit Malaysia 2026 Countdown Festival is set to deliver one of the most electrifying New Year’s Eve celebrations at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on December 31, 2025, marking a powerful launch into Malaysia’s upcoming tourism year.
Jointly organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and The Fame Events, with support from Tourism Malaysia, the festival will feature a synchronised spectacle of pyromusical fireworks, lasers, lights and a striking 3D anamorphic display starring Visit Malaysia 2026 mascots Wira and Manja, creating an unforgettable countdown moment for the nation.
The celebration will be further elevated by a star-studded lineup including Shila Amzah, Aina Abdul, Belle Sisoski, Vanessa Reynauld, Kidd Santhe, The Kuans and more, alongside cultural showcases that reflect Malaysia’s diversity and creativity.
Leading up to the main event, visitors can also enjoy the Visit Malaysia 2026 Bazaar at Pavilion Bukit Jalil from December 26 to 31 and the Arts & Culture Showcase at Fahrenheit 88 from December 27 to 31, offering food, crafts and performances.
With free admission and strong support from national and city partners, the festival is expected to draw large local and international crowds to welcome 2026 in spectacular style.
