PETALING JAYA, December 26 — Cycle & Carriage Malaysia has awarded its fifth Cycle & Carriage Study Grant to four promising students from Despark International College, providing a total of RM40,000 in financial aid to support their automotive education and career development.
As part of the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, the grant includes a RM10,000 bursary per recipient and a two-year bonded contract ensuring a career pathway and employment upon graduation.
The 2025 recipients—Tan Jian Li, Tan Jian San, Ahmad Akif Sofwan bin Ahmad Azli, and Chiam Jin Xian—will pursue studies in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles, gaining skills to contribute to Malaysia’s automotive industry.
At the signing ceremony, Cycle & Carriage Malaysia CEO Adrian Short highlighted the company’s commitment to nurturing future-ready talent, stating that investing in education and communities is key to driving the industry forward.
