PUTRAJAYA, December 26 — Eighteen government agencies and strategic partners were recognised by Technology Depository Agency Berhad (TDA) for their outstanding contributions to Malaysia’s technological advancement and industrial development, in support of national efforts to strengthen local capabilities.
The recognition, presented in conjunction with TDA’s 10th anniversary celebrations officiated by former Deputy Finance Minister Lim Hui Ying, highlighted organisations that demonstrated leadership and innovation in implementing the Industrial Collaboration Programme (ICP) and Performance-Based Contracting (PBC).
Key national mechanisms that promote technology transfer, capability building and outcome-driven procurement. Since its establishment in 2015, TDA has played a central role in ensuring that high-value government procurement delivers long-term socioeconomic impact.
With recipients including major ministries, enforcement agencies and industry players such as Kementerian Pertahanan Malaysia, the Ministry of Health, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, the Royal Malaysian Air Force, Siemens Mobility Sdn Bhd and Alstom Transport Systems Malaysia.
Underscoring the importance of strong public–private collaboration in advancing Malaysia’s industrial and technological ecosystem.
