KUALA LUMPUR, December 27 — Rapid KL will extend its rail services until 2.00am on Wednesday, December 31, in conjunction with New Year’s Eve 2026 celebrations, providing added convenience for revellers heading home after midnight.
Prasarana Malaysia Berhad said the BRT Sunway Line, selected bus routes and Rapid KL On-Demand (ROD) services will also operate later, until 2.30am on January 1, to ensure safe and smooth passenger movement.
The extended operations will cover 20 rail stations, seven BRT stations, 21 main bus routes, feeder services and nine ROD zones, including key hubs such as Pasar Seni, KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Masjid Jamek and Ampang Park.
Train frequencies will be increased from 7.30pm on December 31 until 2.00am, with the public advised to follow Rapid KL’s official channels or use the MyRapid PULSE app for the latest updates and journey planning.
