KUALA LUMPUR, December 31 – In conjunction with its 90th anniversary, Kärcher Cleaning Systems Sdn. Bhd. has strengthened its commitment to community and environmental care by sponsoring professional cleaning equipment worth RM40,592 to Zoo Negara, marking a strategic partnership to elevate the zoo’s cleanliness standards through sustainable, high-performance solutions.
The contribution includes the HD 6/15 G Classic Pressure Washer, LB 930/36 BP Leaf Blower with high-performance batteries, and the Hose Trolley HT 3.420 Kit 5/8, all designed to support efficient daily maintenance across animal enclosures, walkways, and landscaped areas.
The initiative began with a hands-on CSR programme where Kärcher’s team carried out cleaning works within the zoo, followed by a formal handover ceremony attended by leaders of the Malaysian Zoological Society, symbolising collaboration and shared responsibility.
The sponsorship not only commemorates Kärcher’s nine decades of innovation but is also expected to enhance Zoo Negara’s ability to maintain a cleaner, healthier environment for animals and visitors, reflecting the brand’s long-standing values of sustainability, innovation, and positive community impact.
