KUALA LUMPUR, January 5 – DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke said the party will not bow to external pressure or provocations to leave the unity government, urging grassroots members not to be easily influenced by challenges from other quarters.
Speaking at the Melaka DAP Convention, Loke stressed that any decision would be based on the party’s own considerations and the interests of its voters, with discussions at the state level to be reported to the Central Executive Committee.
Adding that DAP would not rush into decisions despite calls from Umno Youth for the party to resign from the Melaka state government.
