KUALA LUMPUR, January 7 – Umno supreme council member Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said any proposals or calls regarding Umno and Barisan Nasional’s direction, including whether to remain in the unity government.
Must be deliberated by the party’s supreme council to ensure prudent decision-making. Responding to Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh’s call for Umno to withdraw from the unity government.
Zambry stressed that while such views could be expressed within party wings, any formal move or recommendation must follow Umno’s established structure and be referred to the supreme council for consideration.
