PETALING JAYA, January 9 – CelcomDigi Berhad has unveiled SafePAY Jr, a new child-safe subscription bundled with the Vircle Visa Prepaid Card, aimed at helping parents teach children financial responsibility while safeguarding them from unsafe spending.
Developed in collaboration with Debit Circles Sdn Bhd (Vircle), SafePAY Jr allows parents to monitor transactions, set spending limits, approve or block categories, and receive real-time alerts, ensuring children’s allowances are managed securely.
Exclusively for CelcomDigi Postpaid customers, SafePAY Jr is available at an introductory price of RM1 for the first month (RM8/month thereafter) with a RM10 processing fee.
The service promotes learning through allowances and chores while restricting unsafe spending categories like alcohol, gambling, and dating services, making it a practical and secure tool for nurturing responsible financial habits from an early age.
