KUALA LUMPUR, January 9 — Sunway Berhad has strengthened its nationwide expansion strategy with the acquisition of three prime land parcels in Puchong and USJ 1, Selangor, and Georgetown, Penang, for a total of RM179.8 million, collectively spanning nearly nine acres with an estimated gross development value exceeding RM1 billion.

The sites are earmarked for mixed-use developments integrating residential, retail and lifestyle components, including a transit-oriented project in USJ 1 near the South Quay–USJ 1 BRT Station and a tourism-oriented development near Gurney Bay in Penang, reinforcing Sunway’s focus on sustainable, well-connected urban communities aligned with long-term growth in key Malaysian cities.
